Yoga in the Park

Opportunity to reconnect with self, land, and community through guided breath and movement practices. A different healing theme will be explored each week, with journal prompts and movement to match the theme. All skills and abilities welcome.

Each class will start with 15-20 mins of reflection and discussion, followed by a 30-40 minute movement and breath practice, finishing with 5-10 mins for rest and integration (totalling 60 mins per class)

Must be able to transport self to and from the park. Parking in the lot and the road is available. Easy access to site, though uneven terrain should be considered.

A few chairs will be available, and participants are encouraged to bring their own mat, blanket, or towel as a practice surface. Extra pillows and blankets are welcome to use as padding for extra comfort. Sunscreen, bug spray, and a beverage are also encouraged for added comfort. 

Journals are encouraged but not mandatory. Participants encouraged to bring own journal and stationary if they choose.
